We are in need of volunteers for our clinics, including at St. Matt's. We especially need registered nurses but welcome physicians, Spanish interpreters and admitting/receptionist personnel. You do not have to speak Spanish except for the interpreter role. Clinic sessions are held mornings or afternoons (half day sessions) on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in the Twin Cities metro area. Since August 21, 30 to 40 volunteers have gathered daily in the Social Hall to clean strawberries for the Minnesota State Fair. Sunday, September 1 will be the last day to clean berries for this year. Cleaning is generally completed by noon each day, sometimes even earlier! The amount of berries to be cleaned depends on the weather and crowd size at the fair.
