Community of Saints continues to instruct and support our students through distance learning.  One quality of our school programming that we are very proud of is the sense of community we provide in our school environment.  We have had to be creative in continuing this with our new normal.  Our staff has been great at providing opportunities for interaction with students via Zoom meetings.  Recently we hosted a COS Spirit Week! Our school Lent Committee organized some amazing ways to recognize Lent this year.  In our main entrance hallway, we have a beautiful student-created prayer chain.  This prayer chain includes individual students' prayer intentions during lent.  Reconciliation will be available for students in grades 3-8, and we will also have a whole school Stations of the Cross on March 13th and March 20th.  Our service project this year will be hosting a food drive for our local community food shelves. Community of Saints had a blast helping out at the St. Matthew Fish Fry last Friday night.  Thank you to the St. Matthew Men's Club for all of your support and allowing COS to be a part of this amazing community event.  We think we had over 40 volunteers, including current families, as well as Alum members of Community of Saints!  We always look forward to attending and/or serving at our sponsoring parish lenten meals.   Night of Community results have been configured, and the benefit brought in $12,400!  All proceeds will go directly to our Student Experience Fund.  A huge thank you to all … [Read more...] about Community of Saints news 3-8-2020
