Bring family and friends, young and old, for a joyous celebration of music when St. Matthew’s hosts the St. Paul Civic Symphony. Selections to be performed include:
Samuel Barber – “School for Scandal” Overture
Margaret Bonds – “Montgomery Variations”
Arthur Bliss – Two Studies for Orchestra
Igor Stravinsky – Firebird Suite (1919).
The Saint Paul Civic Symphony is a nonprofit organization made up of volunteers from many professional backgrounds. Their concerts feature symphonic classics alongside new composers, all performed by world-class musicians. Don’t miss the show!
