Church Library: We have many donated books for our future church library. We need volunteers to sort these books and to put library card envelopes and cards into the back of the books. There is much work to be done! You may set your own hours. Monday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. If interested, please contact the parish office at 651-224-9793.
Greeter: We have an opening for one or two greeters at the Saturday 4:15 PM Mass. Duties include: greeting people as they enter from the Robie Street door, offering a book and a worship aid, and answering any questions people may have. Duties would be from 3:50 PM until Mass begins at 4:15 PM. If you enjoy making people feel welcome, please call the parish office at 651-224-9793.
Mass in the Park: On Saturday, August 10, we will gather at Cherokee Park at 4:30 PM to celebrate our annual Mass in the Park. This will be followed by a potluck dinner. Many items need to be moved from the church to the park on that Saturday afternoon, and moved back to the church after the picnic. We will need a truck or two to help with the moving as well as volunteers to help load those trucks with the items from church and back. Everything needs to be back in place for the Sunday 10:15 AM Mass. If you will be able to help with any of this “loading & moving”, please call the parish office, 651-224-9793.
Catholic Tutor Corps is looking for volunteers to help students with reading lessons next fall. The tutoring would take place during the school day. Two schools that are looking for volunteers are our own parish school, Community of Saints Regional Catholic School in West Saint Paul and Holy Trinity Catholic School in South Saint Paul.
