Santa Pancake Breakfast this Sunday December 10th The Men’s club will be doing the cooking at the breakfast. The breakfast runs from 9am to 1pm so we can use some help between 7:30am and 2pm, please try and make it, it will be fun. Men’s Club Christmas Auction Wednesday December 13th The annual Men’s Club Christmas auction will be held at the next meeting. The music of Mozart, C.P.E. Bach, Haydn and Giordani was presented by the Twin-Cities based ensemble, the WolfGang, on Saturday evening, November 18, 7:30 PM, in the Church of St. Matthew Worship Space. The WolfGang performed instrumental chamber music from the time of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, playing on musical instruments of the type used during Mozart’s life. Archdiocesan Support for Community of Saints and Catholic Education. Bishop Cozzens celebrated mass at Community of Saints last Thursday. He led us in prayer as we remembered our lost loved ones on All Souls Day. Also invited to our school mass were our "Loyalty" donors. Our annual Halloween Dance was a huge success! Over 250 people attended, and there was representation from our school, sponsoring parishes and the local community. It was so much fun! The night consisted of lots of dancing with a great DJ, a coloring table, photo booth, snacks, great costumes and good conversation. Our gym was packed. We love our close-knit community. We hope you all had as much fun as we did, and we look forward to hosting the event again next year! We had our Fall Preschool/Kindergarten Information Night last Thursday. Longtime St. Matthew's parishioner Joanne Miller passed away recently and left the contents of her home, located on Ruby Drive in West St. Paul, to the Church of St. Matthew. An estate sale took place October 26-29, 2017. Thanks to all for a successful estate sale. Proceeds of the sale were more than $2700. News from Community of Saints Regional Catholic School Our students have been busily working on deciding and implementing their class service projects for our school marathon! Confirmation Launch: All St. Matthew Confirmation candidates and their families are invited to attend the St. Matthew 10 AM Mass on Sunday, November 5. After Mass, we will host Coffee Sunday, which will be a potluck brunch with the dishes provided by Confirmation families. Everyone who comes to 10 AM Mass is invited to the potluck brunch.
