Exciting News for St. Matthew’s Parents
On Sunday, February 18th a new Children’s Liturgy of the Word during the Sunday, 10:00 a.m. Mass begins. This Sunday service is geared to children 3 to 6 years of age. Please bring your child(ren) to Mass and the Liturgy teachers will came and escort them to the chapel at the appropriate time. We are excited to begin this new program for our younger children who are not yet old enough to attend Faith Formation. Next Men's Club meeting: Wednesday, February 14th at 7:30 pm Meeting Menu In observance of Lent there will be no meal served. Lenten Fish Fries This year’s Fish Fries start on Friday February 16th and will go through Friday March 30th. We will start wrapping potatoes on Wednesday February 14th before the general meeting. Coffee Sunday Hosts Needed
Hospitality and community are two characteristics of our Saint Matt's community, and Coffee Sunday is one way we demonstrate both. However, in order for us to provide this hospitality and community building activity, we need people to step forward and help host Coffee Sunday. Hosting consists of preparing and setting out the coffee, providing refreshments and cleaning up afterwards, which is minimal. The coffee and paper supplies are provided, and you will be taught how to make coffee in the coffee machine.
