A few members of the Community of Saints School community attended the Catholic Schools Center of Excellence (CSCOE) Bash on May 13, 2017, at the Hilton Minneapolis Ballroom. The purpose of the event was to fundraise for another Archdiocesan-wide "Mass of the Holy Spirit" in 2018! The first open-air Mass of the Holy Spirit for Catholic grade school students was held September 22, 2016, at the St. Paul Saints' CHS field, and was celebrated by Archbishop Hebda. First Holy Communion: May 14, 2017
On Saturday, May 13, 2017 five children received their First Holy Communion. On Sunday, May 14th three children received their Frist Holy Communion. Looking on were happy parents, grandparents and friends as these children received Holy Communion for the first time. May our First Communicants continue to grown in their love of Our Lord Jesus Christ as they receive Him at Mass each week. First Holy Communion: May 7, 2017
On Sunday, May 7, 2017 nine children received their First Holy Communion from Father Bob. There were many proud parents, grandparents and extended family members as Mass as these children received Holy Communion for the first time. COS families and staff support Lenten dinners
The Community of Saints Regional Catholic School staff has been traveling to the different Lenten meals offered at our sponsoring parishes. School families and staff worked and/or attended a recent St. Matthew's Fish Fry, and we also visited the St. John Vianney Fish Fry. Both experiences were delicious! Faith Formation Annual report 2015-2016
Between July 1st, 2015, and June 30th, 2016, the combined Saint Matthew's and Saint Michael's Youth Faith Formations served 44 students in grades 1 to 11. An additional 21 students from Community of Saints joined the program on sacrament instruction evenings and made their sacraments through Saint Matthew's and Saint Michael's parishes. Per the safe environment rules of the US bishops and the archdiocese, a child personal safety lesson is taught each year.
