Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8
Thank You: To all who made the Easter Triduum services special for everyone who attended. To Fr. Thomas Kommers, who led us through the Triduum and Easter services – through his generosity, he made it possible for us to experience the most holy liturgies of the church year. To Cristina and the Liturgy Committee Members who planned the liturgies and had everything that is physically needed in place. To Cristina, the choir and all musicians – through their musical talent we were able to feel all the emotions of the Triduum, from Holy Thursday, through the sadness of Good Friday to the celebration and exultation of the Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday Mass. To all the liturgical ministers and sacristans who served at the various liturgies during the Triduum. To our volunteers who took care of the flowers. To Cristina, Mary B. and all who decorated the chapel for the Altar of Repose. To all who spent time at the Altar of Repose, “keeping watch.” To the Bejblik family who decorated the sanctuary for the Triduum liturgies. To all who helped strip the sanctuary at the end of the Holy Thursday service and then carried the altar, baptismal font, etc. back into the sanctuary for the Easter Vigil service. To Jair and Katie who cleaned the church and had it welcoming for visitors who came to worship with us. To Phil and Angela who made sure that whatever was needed got ordered and delivered on time. To Anthony and Isabella who led the Stations of the Cross on Good Friday! To all our parishioners who joined together to remember in prayer the passion, death and resurrection which allows us today to experience the joy of being Easter People!
Thank You: To all who donated money for the Easter flowers. Through your generosity, we were able to enhance the Glory of Easter with many beautiful flowers!
Thank You: To Fr. Steve Adrian who sent copies of the “Little White Book” for his parishioners! The books are all large print and can be found on the tables in the back of the church. You are asked to take one book per family.
Thank You: To all who attended the Fish Fry, sponsored by the Men’s Club, during the Lenten season. On Good Friday, 363 people attended the Fish Fry. The Men’s Club thanks everyone for their patronage. The next Fish Fry will take place on Friday, March 7, 2025.
