Dear Parishioners:
Thank you for your generous support of our parish! As part of being accountable to you, we have included our annual Financial Activities Report (condensed). The report is for Fiscal Year 2024 (July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024). Here are some highlights:
- We finished in the black.
- We completed a major fundraising goal of $109,000, to pay for the replacement of our main electric panel. That work was performed in June. Congratulations!
- We began raising money to renew our parking lot. To date, we’ve raised approximately $70,000 in cash and pledges.
- We installed security cameras throughout our Parish Center and church buildings, using funds donated during last year’s November Giving Thanks fundraiser.
- Quantum STEAM Academy, our school building tenant, is in its fifth year here. Their student enrollment continues to increase. This is good for them, as it means they’re serving more students. It’s also good for the parish, as their rent money pays for loans and maintenance on the school building.
With regard to long term progress, some financial history: in 2016, we took out two mortgage loans for a total of $1,000,000. That money was used for the elevator in the school building, as well as the boilers in the Parish Center and church buildings (the church boilers also heat the school building). We now have a loan balance of $326,144 for those projects. The larger note, now at $177,534, will be paid off completely in May of 2026. The smaller, for $148,610, will be paid off in May 2036.
Thank you for your prayers, participation, and generosity!
Yours in Christ,
