Retirement Fund for Religious
Women and men religious have spent their lives serving others in prayer, ministry, education and care for those in need—usually for little or no pay. Today, their religious communities do not have enough retirement savings. As they age, they require essential care and medications. Please support them by giving to the Retirement Fund for Religious. Your donation makes a difference for nearly 25,000 senior men and women religious. Please give generously.
To contribute, specially marked envelopes are available in the back of the church. Make checks out to the Church of St. Matthew with “RFR” in the memo line.
Prayer Requests
Due to a long list of names on our prayer list, the names are divided into groups and rotated weekly for Prayers of the Faithful. Email Angela () or call the parish office (651-224-9793) with changes to keep our list up to date. If they continue to need our prayers, their names will stay in the bulletin and Prayers of the Faithful.
When requesting to add a loved one’s name to our bulletin and Prayers of the Faithful, we kindly ask you obtain the individual’s permission. Thank you!
Our parish has several ways in which we can pray for others:
- We include names of those who need our prayers in our bulletin.
- We include names of those who need our prayers in the Prayers of the Faithful during Mass.
- You can include names in the Book of Intentions, found in the back of the church.
