Faith Formation, First Communion, Confirmation Registration Now Open
Families with students in grades K-10 attending public schools, please register your children for Wednesday evening Faith Formation classes for the 2024-2025 school year. The registration form is available at www.st-matts.org/faith-formation and at the Parish Center front desk. This is also the time to sign up children to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation in winter and spring 2025; public school students use the two-page Faith Formation registration form to sign up for those sacraments. Mark your calendars for September 25, the first evening of classes held in the Parish Center starting at 6:30 PM. Parents, plan to attend a parent meeting in church at 7:00 PM. Questions? Email .
Catechetical Sunday
St. Matthew catechists and youth leaders will be recognized on Saturday, September 14, and Sunday, September 15, during Mass. Thanks to these volunteers for serving our parish children and families. Please pray for a faith-filled school year of learning and growing for all involved in early childhood education, Children’s Liturgy of the Word, Faith Formation (religious education/CCD), and Youth Group.
