Faith Formation Fall Break
Faith Formation students do NOT have class this Wednesday, October 16, due to the Education Minnesota fall break. Weekly classes resume on October 23. Parents of Confirmation candidates should mark their calendar for Sunday, October 27, 10:00 AM to noon, for Mass and a meeting that are required for Confirmation families to attend. Registration for public school students for the 2024-25 school year is closing. Parents/guardians who have not yet registered must do so this week; contact Janelle Rohr by email or text 651-242-6004.
Confirmation for COS Students
Community of Saints students in Grade 8 who would like to receive the sacrament of Confirmation are welcome in the St Matthew program. Parents/guardians should complete a one-page registration form that can be downloaded from www.st-matts.org/faith-formation/ and plan on bringing the 8th grader to class in the St Matthew Parish Center on Wednesday, October 23, at 6:45 PM. Confirmation families should also plan on attending the Confirmation launch on Sunday, October 27, from 10 to noon in church.
First Communion for COS Students
Community of Saints students in Grades 2 and up who would like to make their First Communion may do so through the Church of St Matthew. Parents/guardians should complete a one-page registration form (downloadable from www.st-matts.org/faith-formation/) and mark their calendars for Wednesday, November 6, 6:30 PM, when parents and children have a meeting and class in St Matthew church.
